Towards a New Model of Employee Engagement for South African Organisations

Posted by: Ruwayne Kock in Talent Management

South Africa is currently in the grip of recession. Managers can't impact on the recession but can influence the extent to which employees connect to their jobs and the organisation. This connection is referred to employee engagement. Most research shows a strong relationship between employee engagement and employee performance and retention.
The Human Resource Practice conducted a local employee engagement survey to determine the current levels of employee engagement in South African organisations. Survey conducted during April 2009 and 767 responses were received.

To find out more about the 7 factors that drive employee engagement in South African organisations, join us at a Breakfast session on 23 July 2009 at The Country Club Johannesburg, in Woodmead.
