City - Region Summits
( 2 Articles )
For business and political leaders, a primary challenge in this decade will be to achieve economic success in the face of increased and simultaneous competition from all over the world. Global City-Region Talent Summits connect industry, academia, government and the media in a partnership to attract, grow and retain the best talent. Issues range from globalisation, corporate transformation and education, to business and competitive infrastructure. City-Region Talent Summit partners are local, provincial and national government, leading universities and business schools, and top 100 companies. The Human Capital City-Region Talent Summits will be one-day events conducted at HCI university partner campuses. Each event will be preceded by an HCI research study to identify key challenges and opportunities for the city/region and will be further supported by a Regional Portal to gather and disseminate best practices and encourage year-long collaboration. The day will include a networking breakfast and a seated luncheon that will encourage knowledge sharing, interaction, and opportunities for attendees and sponsors to meet and engage with regional leaders.
