2009 Talent Management Summit Resolutions
Each year at the National Talent Management Summit HCI Africa launches an Action Learning Change intervention in the name of the “National Good’. As a thought leadership organisation we believe it is our role to influence events, rather than to react to events in the strategic Human Capital & Talent Management space. To this end we have “Initiated a Nation-Wide CEO Self-Assessment, Benchmarking & Change Management Process to Foster CEO & Line Leadership of the Country’s and Company’s Talent Priorities”
Download the brochure about the TalentInsight intervention for more information about how to sign up your CEO to become part of an elite leadership group who will profoundly influence how HR is practiced in this country. * Audio MP3 of a recent SAFM phone-in radio programme with Karabo Kgoleng interviewing Barrie Bramley on:
- In many industries depth of knowledge forms a critical component of employees' value within an organisation – something the younger worker is not developing as a direct result of moving so often.
- Will today’s younger workers shorter movement cycles and their breadth focused development count against them at a certain point in their careers?
- The older workforce is a key component to the talent debate - in a world of scarce skills can we afford to allow this demographic to exit the workforce?
